SUNDAY MORNING

On a wonderful Sunday morning
I see all this people trooping
With bibles,books and bags
While others busily speed past
Not with one idea of salvation
Rather soaked with worldly situations
On the other hand
You’ll find another band
Men and women,teens
All moving with ease
They pretend to be going
But unknowingly,they are coming
They’re called:”church goers”
They think they are information knowers
They go to hear everything
But come back with their heads empty
They seem to enjoy the life
In the end, they’re close to the low life
They come with enthusiasm
But return with fanatism
They will never get to know
Until they endeavour to sow
Their time,passion and energy
For God’s word, which they must study
All this while, they think they are Christians
In reality,they are just aliens

  1. Great write up here. Indeed that is how the people of our now see church to be. To go for information and not apply it to their lives. May God see us through.
